Welcome! My name is Emily and I write this blog. I have been blogging for over 12 years and it is the single thing that brings all the pieces of my life together in one place.
I. Love. It.
I live in Northern California with my two little girls. As a single mom, I wear many hats (what mom now doesn’t!?). I am a school libriarian, I parent my adorable chidlren, play eclectic violin, travel all over, am getting my master’s, write for various people and places, and through it all, find time to sneek quite a bit of reading in.
I let lots of things slide in my life that I don’t feel like are terribly important (hello, folded laundry? What is that?) such as washing my hands (just kidding. I swear.) and I’m happy with my life. I find joy and happiness in small things and it doesn’t take much to make me laugh really hard.
I love people. I love nature. I love music. I love this crazy, wonderful, amazing life. Mary Oliver asks, “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?
Just this: To love without fear and regret nothing.
