How to Roast Figs with Brown Sugar and Feta


This is what we had for dinner last night: Figs roasted with brown sugar and topped with bleu cheese. They are super easy to make.

ROASTED FIGS WITH CHEESE

Wash and half about ten figs.
Put on a cookie sheet cut side up.
Sprinkle with about a teaspoon of brown sugar or honey per half.
Put under the broiler for 10 minutes, or until they are caramelized and bubbly.
Take out and let cool.
Sprinkle with goat cheese, feta or bleu cheese.
Yum!
